The Islands is a labyrinthine playground located to the south of Dahab. This site is home to diverse variety of coral types which are most extremely well preserved. Here you can see such awesome marine life as yellowtail barracuda, twinspot snapper and sometimes even dolphins.
The coral is also amazing and here you will see porites and very large brain corals. Just more than a decade ago an earthquake caused some sections of the reef to collapse and this has exposed cracks and holes which are now becoming filled up with new coral life. The earthquake is also responsible for the grey coral graveyard which is known as ‘bone yard’.
