it is slightly more expensive than many places close by because it is so well established. the showers are salty though! my refresher dive with penguin divers was not professional enough nor was the equipment great- spend more and have a better time somewhere else. i got some good travel advise from the manager with mostly good prices but always shop around. I was being too relaxed so paid more for it... your choice!? Relaxing with wonderful penguin breakfast is

My room was quite hot and stuffy, but I spent as little time in it as possible-the terrace overlooking the Red Sea is where almost everyone seemed to spend most of their time, when they weren't on day trips.

Penguin Village is a fantastic budget hotel, excellently located with friendly and helpful staff. The dive instructors are brilliant and we had a lovely stay with them including first time dives for myself and an Open Water certification for my boyfriend! Would recommend it highly as our room was great and very cheap!

enjoyed our stay here, with no troubles, staff are great very helpful with orgainising everything such as transport, dives, tours etc. and their prices were cheaper than others too, the shared showers were always hot. lovely people, lovely place, would definately stay there again
